Mobile internet connectivity dropping until reboot
Which version of the software are you running?
21.12.0-rel.0
What happened?
Since the upgrade to Android 10, I experience frequently that mobile internet stops working unless I reboot the phone. It appears to be mostly triggered by passing through an area with weak signal.
I was roaming in Germany until Wednesday, where it only happened roughly once a day, but now at home in the Netherlands I sometimes need to reboot my phone every few minutes to regain connectivity, to the point that mobile internet becomes basically useless.
I have already tried downgrading to 3G or 2G, neither of which helps - it appears to happen with all three network technologies. Enabling flight mode for a minute also does not fix it.
The SIM card status in Settings > About the phone shows "status of mobile network: connected" and "service status: in use", as normal.
I use a Youfone (Netherlands) SIM card in slot SIM1 which is less than a year old. I have already tried cleaning the contacts of the SIM card.
Expected behavior
Mobile internet reconnects when I regain signal.
Steps to reproduce
Go to an area with low signal quality and watch the mobile internet icon in the top bar. As soon as the connection briefly drops, the 4G/3G/etc. text is gone.

Is there a workaround?
